Lincoln, the first city ever named for Abraham Lincoln, is located in the center of Illinois in Logan County. The community consists of approximately 18,000 residents and includes 17 schools and 2 colleges. Local industry is primarily based in agriculture but there are many small to medium businesses based in manufacturing, freight, engineering and general construction.
